According to Jin10, on June 1st local time, American entrepreneur Elon Musk stated in an interview with CBS that he does not want to publicly oppose the U.S. government, but he also does not want to take responsibility for everything the government does. Musk mentioned that the "Department of Government Efficiency" he leads has become a scapegoat, with all layoffs, whether true or false, blamed on the "Department of Government Efficiency." Additionally, Musk expressed his frustration with the multi-trillion dollar tax cuts and spending plan currently being discussed by Congressional Republicans, believing that this bill would undermine the work being done by the Department of Government Efficiency team. Musk stated that while he has always been a staunch ally of Trump, he does not always support the policies of the Trump administration.
