纽约多名检察官指责 GENIUS 法案纵容稳定币发行商从欺诈中获利

Foresight News 消息，据 CNN 报道，纽约州总检察长 Letitia James 及曼哈顿地区检察官 Alvin Bragg 等五名检察官联名致函指出，去年 7 月签署的 GENIUS 法案未能有效保护诈骗受害者，并为稳定币发行商「从欺诈中获利」提供法律掩护。检察官在信中表示，该法案虽为稳定币提供了合法性，却允许发行公司规避打击恐怖主义融资、洗钱及加密欺诈所需的关键监管要求。信中特别点名 Tether 和 Circle，指责两家公司在协助执法部门扣押并归还资金方面表现不力，且通过投资被冻结的被盗资金获利。报道中数据显示，Circle 和 Tether 在 2024 年通过投资储备金（包括支持被盗资金的储备资产）各获利约 10 亿美元。截至去年 11 月，Circle 冻结的资金规模已超过 1.14 亿美元。
