BlockBeats 消息，2 月 27 日，据《华尔街日报》报道，OpenAI 创始人 Sam Altman 的 Tools for Humanity (TFH) 与 Gap、Visa、Tinder 合作，推广 World ID 人类验证产品（区分人类与机器人的身份验证技术）。
在旧金山的一家 Gap 门店，已经开始帮助访客获取 World ID。做法是安装其标志性的、排球大小的「Orb」设备，用来采集人脸和眼部图像。与此同时，一张计划推出的 Visa 支付卡将允许 World ID 持有者消费数字资产，包括 Worldcoin——在大多数市场中，人们注册时会获得这种加密货币作为奖励。此外，约会应用 Tinder 正在日本测试该身份系统，以验证用户是真实的人，并且年龄与其声明一致。
该公司表示，其 Orb 设备会将个人的面部和虹膜图像转换为一串匿名数字，并存储在用户自己的设备上，Tools for Humanity 本身不会保留这些数据。TFH 首席商务官 Trevor Traina 称，公司希望通过向应用程序收费来获得收入——每当某个应用使用用户的 World ID 来确认其为真人时，公司就会收取一笔费用。
