Ripple Labs 正式启动其美元支持的稳定币 RLUSD 多链扩展试点，标志着 Ripple 在稳定币与多链基础设施方向上的进一步布局。根据官方声明，RLUSD 将在获得全面监管批准前，率先通过试点形式扩展至多条以太坊L2网络，包括 Optimism、Base、Ink 和 Unichain。
此次扩展由 Ripple 与跨链互操作性协议 Wormhole 合作完成。Wormhole 提供的跨链技术允许资产在不同区块链之间安全转移，被视为当前多链生态中的关键基础设施。RLUSD 此前已在 XRP Ledger 和以太坊主网上发行，Ripple 表示，向以太坊 L2 扩展对于构建更具扩展性、效率和互操作性的金融体系至关重要。
Ripple 团队指出，加密行业正快速走向多链格局，稳定币只有部署在具备真实需求和应用场景的网络上，才能更好地服务机构金融和不断增长的链上经济。随着区块链技术逐步进入现实世界应用阶段，合规、受监管的稳定币需求正持续上升。
值得关注的是，RLUSD 在本次试点中将采用 Wormhole 的原生代币转移（NTT）标准。这意味着 RLUSD 可以以“原生资产”的形式在多条区块链之间流转，而非通过常见的锁仓加包装代币机制。这种设计有助于避免流动性碎片化问题，确保 RLUSD 在不同链上维持统一标准，同时由 Ripple 持有并管理相关合约。
Ripple 还透露，RLUSD 计划于明年上线更多区块链，但前提是获得最终监管批准。RLUSD 依据纽约州金融服务部的信托公司章程发行，同时 Ripple 已向美国货币监理署（OCC）申请联邦信托银行章程，以进一步强化合规属性。Ripple 稳定币业务负责人表示，稳定币是连接 DeFi 与机构级应用的重要入口。
