Today is the second day of the second lunar month, also known as "Dragon Raises Its Head."

This evening at dusk, Jiao Su (角宿), which represents the "dragon's horns," will rise from the eastern horizon, while the remaining six stars of the Azure Dragon's Seven Mansions (Jiao, Kang, Di, Fang, Xin, Wei, Ji - 角、亢、氐、房、心、尾、箕) remain hidden below the horizon, as if a giant dragon is raising its head.

The appearance of this celestial phenomenon marks the return of yang energy, the beginning of thunder sounds, the emergence of hibernating insects, and the gradual increase in rainfall—it is the critical season when spring plowing begins.
