From the 1-hour trend, Ethereum built a short-term high near 2385 and then experienced a notable decline, with the low testing near 2150. Currently, it is consolidating around the 2180 level.
The previous uptrend structure has been broken, and the short-term market has entered a bearish-dominated correction phase.
On the hourly level, MACD has formed a death cross, with bullish momentum continuously weakening and bearish momentum still being released. The market is in a downtrend cycle.
Regarding volume, there was obvious volume surge during the decline, and the current consolidation phase shows some volume contraction, which represents a shock-repair structure after the decline.
Key support: Around 2150
If this level breaks, bears are expected to gain further momentum.
Trading suggestions:
Short in batches in the 2200–2220 range
Target: Around 2130–2150
