If you won 200 million, what would you do?
If I suddenly won a big prize, the first thing I'd want to do is collect the money steadily and carefully, then keep a low profile.
I would first prepare my bank card and have my husband take time off work. That night I probably wouldn't be able to sleep. Once work hours start the next day, I'd go to claim the prize and make a donation along the way for peace of mind. After taxes, I'd probably have over 100 million left.
Once the money arrives, I'd likely split it into several portions and deposit them into the four major banks for long-term fixed deposits, letting the principal sit there steadily. This way, after a few years, I could earn several million in interest annually, and life would basically be worry-free about money.
With the remaining portion, I'd first pay off the mortgage, then buy the 400-square-meter luxury apartment 🏡 I've been dreaming about. Villas aren't really suitable for daily living—they're too far away and too desolate.
In the next few years, I'd probably continue to stay active on social media and gradually adapt to this change. My lifestyle wouldn't suddenly become extravagant—at most I'd buy a Panamera 🚗, and occasionally go on trips. Life would continue like before, just without the pressure of mortgage payments.
After a few years when the fixed deposits gradually mature and I have stable annual income, I'd upgrade my lifestyle a bit: buy insurance for family members, prepare education funds for children, and make my parents' living situation more comfortable.
As for the extra money, I'd actually prefer to use it for something meaningful. For example, I could sponsor some underprivileged students or donate to my alma mater to build a small project.
Money can make life easier, but what truly gives me peace of mind is living well and being able to help others a little.
