$PI woke up, holding futures positions overnight, and even with stop losses in place, still can't sleep soundly. When prices rise, I worry about them falling, and when they fall, I worry about when they'll finally bottom out. Holding spot positions gives a slightly better mindset—losing with indifference, gaining with acceptance, pursuing what's inevitable, and going with the flow. To achieve the above, I still need to practice and cultivate my mind and character.
