this year I want to build a beast of a home computer.but idk man don\'t want to be paying these ram prices at highs.

every time tax year ends, I remember the decent advantage of having an accounting background and having worked as a bookkeeper for 4 yrs. bunch of tax deductions a lot of small shops don\'t even consider and that at the end of the year add up to a significant share of top line.

as a guy with relatively weak math skills, I have to focus on simple strategies, that aren\'t impressive on their own, but that have clear objectives for what they\'re trying to capture in return space and that I can put together into a soup of other simple dumb strategies.

I\'d rather go back to a simple and dumb solution, but that I know is robust, than implementing a solution that is more complex, achieves the target better, but adds a bunch of uncertainty I don\'t want to deal with.

I procrastinate at the end of a big task because I am scared of the results or scared to implement as I unconsciously know something is missing.

lifting heavy weights + moving around more really lifts me off any down mood. I can spot a major difference in mood/drive every time I stop going to the gym + walking/running for a few days.

had this samsung s21+ since 2021 but I think it\'s time to change. I refuse to buy a new phone if it\'s working just fine, but this one, tbh completely my fault, is starting to be a bit of a hassle.looked into google pixel 10, didn\'t expect it to be that good, might wait for 11.

when I get forex ads on instagram or youtube I make it my duty to report them for scamming. I know it ain\'t doing nothing, but I get a bit happy doing it.

sometimes I listen to a cool podcast, I learn something new, I feel inspired, but it doesn\'t last much because that voice in the back of my head reminds me: "bro what a failure you are."

the TACO trade is so back

lately I\'ve been living in a permanent state of urgency. can\'t go outside my desk without stressing that I need to be pushing on the next thing. \n\nneed to get better at that, not the best way to live.\n\nhaving a set minimum hours I have to work each day and be at peace with that.

last time crypto had good general performance, or what old schoolers call "easy mode", was summer 2023 - q1 2024. that's it. it's kinda insane thinking it was 2 years ago. yes some periods here and there but very idiosyncratic like memes, perp dexes, btc, eth, and not much else.
