Yesterday I went on an outdoor excursion, and as I passed through a woods, I faintly heard a woman's screams.

I quietly walked into the woods and saw a woman with disheveled clothing, bound and lying on the ground like a spider, while a man was whipping her with a leather whip. The woman could only let out faint cries—the situation was extremely urgent and left no room for hesitation.

I quietly circled behind the man, picked up a wooden stick from the ground, and knocked him unconscious with one blow. At that moment, the woman noticed the commotion behind her and turned around, looking at me in horror. I quickly stepped forward to help her up and said, "Don't be afraid, miss. I've come to rescue you."

But then the woman suddenly began shouting at me angrily, "Are you insane?! Get out of here! Get lost immediately!"

I was momentarily stunned by her shouting and could only back out of the woods. On my way back, the more I thought about it, the more something seemed off. Could it be that the woman was afraid I would see her in such a disheveled state?
