On October 17th, Jinshi data reported that on October 16th local time, the Colombian government and the peace negotiation delegation announced that they would extend the ceasefire protocol with the former largest anti-government armed force, the ‘Colombian Revolutionary Armed Forces’ branch ‘Karaka’, for 6 months until midnight on April 15, 2025. ‘Karaka’ is currently the only anti-government armed force engaged in negotiations with the government.
