On June 22, Jin10 reported, according to CNN, that two informed sources indicated that the United States is withdrawing more personnel from its diplomatic mission in Iraq. One source familiar with the current evacuation efforts stated that at least one flight has taken off in the past few hours. However, hours after President Trump announced the U.S. attack on Iran, flights were forced to be suspended due to Jordan closing its airspace. The source stated that the goal is to leave only core diplomatic staff.
