Since being elected president, Donald Trump and his family, who have taken many positive steps in cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin, seem to be making their mark in the ETF world as well. Trump Media and Technology, controlled by the Trump family, has applied to the Securities and Exchange Commission for the “Truth Social Bitcoin and Ether ETF”.
In the Bitcoin spot ETF application on June 5, the sponsor company behind this fund was also shown as Yorkville America Digital. In the brand partnership, only the name of Truth Social is mentioned. The official application appears to have been made by the Yorkville company.
The S-1 registration file submitted to the SEC will invest in both Bitcoin and Ether simultaneously. The fund will be listed on the NYSE Arca exchange.
