The CEO of that major chip maker just dropped an interesting take: China? That's bonus territory for them right now.
Their real focus? Riding this insane wave of global demand that's basically going vertical. Seems like everyone wants a piece of what they're selling, and the order books are packed.

Are chips in such short supply that the Chinese market has really become a "side hustle"? This wave of global demand is indeed skyrocketing, but that said... having orders overflowing also means that the production capacity ceiling is about to be reached, right?

Is the Chinese market a bonus? Ha, that's something that can't be put into words, anyway, a full order is the real strength.

The global chip shortage has indeed allowed American chip manufacturers to effortlessly profit... The Chinese market has instead become a "bonus on top of the cake", which sounds off.
