Don't remind me again today

Jerome Powell's got something on his calendar worth watching. The Fed chair's heading to Stanford on December 1st at 7 PM for a memorial honoring George Shultz. He'll be dropping some remarks and joining a panel about Shultz's economic policy legacy. These kinds of appearances sometimes reveal where central bank thinking is heading, so could be interesting for anyone tracking monetary policy signals.

What signal is Powell trying to send... The economic policy ideas from Shultz's generation, we are still using them now.

Is Powell going to just talk nonsense or is he really going to share some valuable insights? Who knows if it will be just empty words again...

Powell is up to something again, what is he going to do at Stanford this time... It looks like he wants to give the market a heads up?

Powell is going to make waves again, this time pretending to be profound at Stanford? Does anyone still believe in George Shultz's economic policies... haha
