SWELL is the native governance token of Swell DAO, a decentralized community responsible for the development, growth, and maintenance of the Swell protocol, a leading L2 restaking protocol offering liquid staking and original restaking for Ethereum and Bitcoin. Beyond governance, SWELL is used to secure the infrastructure and applications of Swell L2 through the EigenLayer and Symbiotic restaking protocol.

Total supply and distribution
The initial circulating supply will reach 13% (1,300,000,000) rounded to the nearest whole percentage, which includes the Voyage airdrop (8.5%) as an addition for market makers, exchange marketing, and initial DEX liquidity.
SWELL has a maximum total supply of 10,000,000,000.
