Unciphered Offers to Help Ex-Ripple CTO Recover His Hard Drive Containing 7,002 Bitcoin

Crypto recovery firm Unciphered has offered to help former Ripple CTO Stefan Thomas unlock a hard drive containing 7,002 BTC, worth roughly $244 million. Thomas forgot the password to access the drive, and Unciphered claims to have developed a method to crack the hardware and safely access the BTC keys. The company has successfully accessed data on a similar IronKey in the past, bypassing the 10-attempt restriction
