Just an observation — and of course only a small sample size
In fact, it was the strongest consumer demand I’ve personally ever witnessed
The Nike store had a line of over 100 people deep — so bad I found the product in their app while in line, and left with an online order I overpaid for instead
I had to wait outside Gucci because it was at capacity
The entire outlet mall itself was mobbed with people parking literally anywhere so they could to go and shop
I see consumers feverishly getting themselves in debt
I don’t know why, but the pandemic caused an insane spending bug in a lot of consumers
This is not going to end well
But it definitely hasn’t happened quite yet
