Custodia Will Soon Offer Bitcoin Custody Services in Select US States
Cryptofriendly bank Custodia has announced that it is now accepting dollar deposits and will soon offer Bitcoin custody services for customers in select U.S. states. The bank has also started providing customers with U.S. government money market fund services. Custodia's CEO, Caitlin Long, stated that the bank has obtained approval from bank regulators to take customer funds and emphasized the high standards that banks must meet to launch. Custodia is currently only available to business customers and is gradually expanding its operations.
