Techub News reported that Simon Gerovich, Chief Executive Officer of Japanese listed company MetaPlanet, announced that the company has raised approximately $255 million through a placement of new shares to global institutional investors, with new shares priced at a 2% premium. At the same time, the company also issued fixed strike price warrants at a 10% premium, which can monetize the company's equity volatility upon exercise, thereby raising approximately $276 million in additional funds. Overall, approximately $531 million in funds will be used to increase holdings of Bitcoin.
