(MENAFN- IANS) Chennai, March 6 (IANS) The makers of director Harish Durairaj’s highly anticipated family comedy, starring Arjun Das and Anna Ben, announced on Friday that their film is titled “Con City.”

The announcement was made through an intriguing title teaser, which actor Arjun Das shared on his social media accounts.

Sharing the link to the teaser on his X (formerly Twitter) timeline, Arjun Das wrote, “This family doesn’t just entertain. They take you for a ride. Presenting the TITLE TEASER of #ConCity.”

The teaser begins with Arjun Das being threatened over the phone by a moneylender. He questions Arjun Das about why he stopped answering his calls.

From the phone conversation, it becomes clear that Arjun Das has fled with his family after locking his house. The moneylender threatens him, saying, “Do you think I can’t find you? If you think you can cheat me out of my money, no matter where you run, I will come and cut your family members to pieces right before your eyes.” Arjun Das firmly tells him he won’t pay and tells him to do what he can.

Soon after the conversation, Arjun Das loses his temper and starts throwing whatever he can reach in anger. When he picks up a small device that looks like a receipt printer from a grocery store to throw it, lightning strikes and touches the device in his hand.

Immediately after, every time he presses a button for a receipt, 500 rupee notes start coming out of the machine. Soon, Arjun Das is able to repay the moneylender. But he’s not the only one who discovers he has a machine that can produce money…

Written and directed by Harish Durairaj, the film will also feature Yogi Babu, Vadivukkarasi, and Akhilan in key roles, alongside Arjun Das and Anna Ben.

On the technical side, the film’s music is by Sean Roldan, with cinematography by Aravind Viswanathan. Editing is by Arul Moses A, and production design by Raj Kamal. Costumes are designed by Navaa Rambo Rajkumar, and the songs’ lyrics are penned by Mohan Rajan.

Choreography for the dance sequences is by Santhosh, and fight scenes are choreographed by Action Sandhosh.
