Global Critical Minerals Partnership, China clarifies its cooperative stance

Regarding the new partnership initiatives proposed in Washington, China demonstrated a constructive attitude aimed at maintaining the stability of the entire global supply chain.

A spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that China’s commitment to ensuring the safety and efficiency of the global supply chain for critical minerals remains unchanged. At the same time, China expressed the view that all participating countries should share responsibility in achieving common goals regarding the new partnership initiatives aimed at reducing over-dependence on China.

Regarding the cooperation memorandum being developed between the United States and Europe, China pointed out the importance of the entire international community adhering strictly to the fundamental principles of market economy and international trade rules. China advocates that countries should avoid unilateralism, instead strengthening dialogue and mutual communication to jointly support the stability of the international economic order.
