Together at Sea: USA and Israel Strengthen Military Cooperation Through Joint Exercises



On February 2nd, the Israeli Ministry of Defense confirmed that a U.S. destroyer participated in coordinated tactical drills with Israeli naval units in the Red Sea. The operation conducted on February 1st is another example of the intensifying cooperation between the naval forces of both countries in the strategic region.

## Scope and Participants of the Operation

The maneuvers conducted at sea involved advanced combat systems from both sides. According to Jin10, the operations at sea are coordinated by the U.S. Navy's Fifth Fleet, responsible for operations in the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf.
