The newspaper report (Xu Huigang, Ou Qing, reporter Zhu Xiwei): As the Spring Festival approaches, on February 11, Fangda Jiu Steel, located in Hukou High-tech Industrial Park, held a red envelope distribution ceremony. Each employee received a cash red envelope of 20,000 yuan, totaling over 100 million yuan. This is the 11th time the company has distributed cash red envelopes to employees since its restructuring in 2012, with a total amount nearly reaching 1.2 billion yuan.

Walking into Fangda Jiu Steel, the factory area is decorated with hanging lanterns and drums beating loudly. The ceremony kicked off with an exciting lion dance performance, creating a lively and festive atmosphere. “I feel very happy. I received a 20,000 yuan red envelope! I calculated that the company has issued red envelopes multiple times, and I have received more than 200,000 yuan in total,” said Shen Jianyun, an engineer in the automation department of Fangda Jiu Steel, unable to hide his excitement. “The company not only provides a high-quality platform but also offers generous treatment, allowing me to focus entirely on technical research and development.”

In recent years, Fangda Jiu Steel has adhered to party-building leadership and bold reform, relying on innovation and green development to achieve high-quality leapfrog development. Since joining Fangda Group, Fangda Jiu Steel has paid over 12.5 billion yuan in taxes, ranked second in the industry for profit per ton of steel in 2025, and has been awarded titles such as National Civilized Unit, National Green Factory, and National AAA-rated Tourist Attraction. “According to the suggestions of the Fangda Group Board of Directors, this year we will again distribute 20,000 yuan red envelopes to all employees. Since the restructuring in 2012, this is the 11th time we have issued cash red envelopes, with a total amount nearly reaching 1.2 billion yuan. Each employee has received an average of 203,000 yuan, truly allowing employees to share in the company’s development achievements,” said Lv Xiaohua, deputy director of the Party and Mass Work Department of Fangda Jiu Steel.
