Mars Finance reports that, according to TASS, Vladimir Chistyukhin, the First Deputy Governor of the Russian Central Bank, stated at the Alfa Talk conference that the Bank of Russia plans to conduct a study on the feasibility of creating a Russian stablecoin in 2026. Chistyukhin said that the traditional stance of the Russian Central Bank is to prohibit such operations, but considering practices in multiple countries, they will reassess the related risks and prospects and submit the research findings for public discussion.
