According to the China Railway Kunming Group, since the opening of the China-Laos Railway, as of February 3rd, the entire line has transported over 66 million passengers, attracting travelers from more than 120 countries and regions worldwide to take international passenger trains for cross-border travel. Guan Yiran, the duty station master at Kunming Station of China Railway Kunming Bureau, introduced that to meet the diverse travel needs of passengers, they have also launched quality, comfortable, and affordable tourism trains, connecting popular destinations such as Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, and Xishuangbanna within China, as well as cross-border tourism trains from Kunming to Luang Prabang and Vientiane in Laos, helping to promote cultural tourism and integrate culture and tourism development.
