Guangzhou Futures Exchange: Implemented the "Tax Reduction and Fee Reduction" plan, saving enterprises a total of 123 million yuan in transaction fees in 2025.

On February 13, the Guangzhou Futures Exchange released the “Annual Report on the Construction of a Green Futures Exchange at Guangzhou Futures Exchange (2025).” The report points out that the supply and demand changes in new energy industries such as photovoltaics and lithium batteries are rapid, and technological updates are frequent. To adapt to new industry development trends, the exchange will continue to optimize rules, further align with industry needs. In 2025, the exchange will revise the “Guangzhou Futures Exchange Lithium Carbonate Futures and Options Business Rules,” optimize the benchmark delivery product indicators, and introduce a registered brand exemption inspection system to better match the actual spot circulation and downstream applications, promoting the connection between futures and spot markets and the price discovery function. The layout of designated delivery warehouses in key regions such as Northwest, North China, East China, and South China will be adjusted and optimized, with a total of 19 new delivery factories and warehouses and 4 new delivery warehouses added, along with the addition of registered polycrystalline silicon brands to meet the delivery needs of more industry enterprises. The “Guangzhou Futures Exchange Hedging Management Measures” will be revised to improve the efficiency of hedging business applications. The exchange will implement a “tax reduction and fee reduction” plan, reducing and exempting transaction fees for enterprises by a total of 123 million yuan throughout the year. The rules for trading and settlement will be continuously optimized, and mechanisms such as market maker rotation will be established to improve the quality and efficiency of market maker management.
