Abstract generation in progress

In early 2026, major domestic and international automakers such as Tesla, Chery Automobile, Hyundai, Xpeng Motors, and Seres simultaneously entered the robotics sector. Tesla even ceased production of several of its best-selling models, transforming its automotive production lines to “swap cages for birds,” and reconfigured its manufacturing lines to produce robots. Recently, reporters learned that automakers venturing into embodied intelligence are no longer considered to be “diverting from their main business.” After undergoing a new energy transformation, leading global automotive companies’ move toward intelligentization is surpassing the traditional definition of automobiles.
