On the 9th local time, Iranian Foreign Minister Alaghazi stated during a public event that there is a “wall of distrust” between Iran and the United States, which has been caused by the U.S. itself. He emphasized that Iran seeks to achieve results through genuine negotiations, provided that the other side also demonstrates a serious and sincere attitude. He hopes to establish the necessary trust to move negotiations toward substantive outcomes. Alaghazi pointed out that whenever the Iranian people are spoken to with tough and pressure tactics, they will resist; whereas when communicated with respect and courtesy, the Iranian people will respond in the same manner.
