Ferrari (RACE) stock popped in early trade after upbeat guidance suggested its luxury supercars are still in high demand.

For 2026, Ferrari projects revenue of about 7.5 billion euros ($8.91 billion), up 5% from a year ago, with adjusted EBITDA expected at 2.93 billion euros ($3.48 billion), up 5.8%. Analysts were expecting revenue of 7.53 billion euros and adjusted EBITDA of 2.91 billion euros, per Bloomberg consensus.

Ferrari expects its industry-leading EBITDA margin to hit 39%, up 20 basis points from last year. Ferrari said an improved product mix, including higher-end cars, personalizations, and higher racing revenues, will boost results in 2026.

Ferrari stock surged nearly 10% in early trade in New York.

“Our remarkable financial performance — with revenues up 7% to over 7.1 billion euros ($8.43 billion), an EBIT margin up 120 basis points to 29.5%, and industrial free cash flow surpassing 1.5 billion euros ($1.78 billion) — was sustained by product mix, personalizations and sponsorships,” Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna said in a statement.

Vigna added, “Demand for Ferrari remains very solid and is managed with discipline in every market reflecting our exclusivity model: our order book extends towards the end of 2027.”

Ferrari reported global sales fell slightly to 13,640 units, which the company said was a deliberate move due to “significant model change-over, that will continue in 2026.” In 2025, the Italian automaker launched six new models: the 296 Speciale, 296 Speciale A, Amalfi, 849 Testarossa, 849, and Testarossa Spider.

Ferrari’s higher-margin supercars, such as the Daytona SP3, SF90 XX, and 12Cilindri, increased their presence in the company’s product mix, which boosted results. Personalization of its models through the Ferrari Tailor Made program helped boost results.

In 2026, the company will reveal its first EV — the Ferrari Luce — which the company said will debut at an event in May. Last week, the company gave a preview of the Luce’s interior design, which favored physical buttons and dials, along with a touchscreen that also included buttons. Former Apple designer Jony Ive and his Loveform agency were behind the design.

Ferrari said racing revenues from Formula One and the World Endurance Championship grew due to new sponsorships, with F1 revenues rising on improved performance in the 2024 model year.
