ZachXBT: An address lost 3.5 WBTC due to "address poisoning" issue

Deep Tide TechFlow News, February 10 — On social platform X, on-chain investigator ZachXBT issued a warning today that a user lost 35 WBTC due to “address poisoning.” The scam exploited Phantom Wallet’s interface failure to effectively filter spam transactions, causing users to mistakenly copy incorrect addresses with similar beginnings. ZachXBT urged Phantom to prioritize fixing this security vulnerability and published the related theft addresses and transaction hashes.
