On February 10th, Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov posted a lengthy article on the X platform regarding the current state of the crypto market, stating that cycles are a normal part of the cryptocurrency industry. The important thing is that these cycles reveal the level of development in the industry, and how the next phase, adoption, and value creation trends will define the industry. Currently, there are no significant risk management failures leading to large institutional failures or systemic risk spreading. This indicates that the crypto industry’s risk management this time is much better than in the previous cycle. Sergey Nazarov also stated that regardless of price fluctuations, the trend of bringing real-world assets on-chain is accelerating, which shows that the on-chain of real-world assets is not closely related to cryptocurrency prices but has its own unique value. This value can grow independently of Bitcoin or other crypto asset market prices, and this trend will also fundamentally change the industry landscape.
