Danish Trade Surplus Widens in December

Denmark’s seasonally adjusted trade surplus widened to DKK 35.3 billion in December 2025 from an upwardly revised DKK 31.6 billion in November. Exports rose 3.3% month-on-month to DKK 188.4 billion, driven by a 2.8% rise in goods exports and a 4% jump in services exports. Imports also increased by 1.5% to DKK 153.1 billion, supported by a 0.8% gain in goods imports and 2.3% rise in services imports. For full-year 2025, exports of goods and services increased by 3.4% to DKK 2,149 billion, while imports increased by 1.5% to DKK 1,805 billion. Denmark posted a full-year trade surplus of DKK 344.5 billion, up from DKK 299.7 billion in 2024.
