Cambodian protests against Thai troops' "illegal roadblock setup" Thailand claims this move aims to "ease tensions"

The Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly protested on the 8th against the Thai military’s “illegal setting of roadblocks and road construction on occupied Cambodian territory,” accusing Thailand of violating the ceasefire agreement reached by both sides at the end of 2025. The Thai military stated on the 7th that Thailand is strictly adhering to the ceasefire agreement, and their actions are “aimed at easing tensions.” (Xinhua)
