What would the outcome be if FTX had succeeded today?\nLook at how FTX was throwing money around at the time; it seemed like they didn't really consider ROI. The inner circle just thought it was interesting and looked good, so they invested.\nOther Eastern VC/PE/family offices didn't invest either because of information gaps, or they simply couldn't access that circle, or due to performance pressure.\nSometimes, the less you focus on a specific thing, the more likely you are to come up with something valuable.\nThe more casually you buy, the easier it is to catch the bottom.\nIt's just that magical.
