How do I take profit on my short positions?I rarely close a short manually. I usually use stops and trail them down when price goes lowerLet\'s take $SOL for example. My short entry was $127That means I\'m already heavily in profit. But we want to maximize the profit while not giving it back to the market if it bouncesMy old stop was at $102. Now the price dropped lower and I\'m also lowering my stopsThe closer we get to what I suspect is a bottom, the tighter I make my stopsAs you can see in the image, they\'re now at $91, $86, and $83And generally, I always place my stops above the lower highs of the last bouncesI hope this helps
