Tether Launches Open Source Solution for Bitcoin Mining: Introducing MiningOS
Tether has released MiningOS, an open source, decentralized operating system for Bitcoin mining.
Tether has launched MiningOS, an open source operating system developed for Bitcoin mining, using (MiningOS). The new software aims to enable miners to manage their operations with a more flexible infrastructure instead of closed, manufacturer-dependent solutions.
According to the company's statement, MOS offers a modular, peer-to-peer architecture for monitoring mining devices, optimizing energy consumption, and automating processes.
The system is designed to operate at various scales, from home setups to large industrial facilities, and does not require reliance on centralized services.
Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated, “MiningOS was developed to make Bitcoin mining more open, modular, and accessible.”
The software, released under the Apache 2.0 license, is hardware-independent, and the Mining SDK package for developers will be expanded in the coming months in collaboration with the open source community.
