Circle's USDC circulation decreased by 3.4 billion tokens within a week
Mars Finance reports that, according to official data, within the 7 days ending January 29, Circle issued approximately 5.2 billion USDC, redeemed about 8.6 billion USDC, and the circulating supply decreased by approximately 3.4 billion tokens. The total circulating supply of USDC is 70.2 billion tokens, with a reserve of approximately 70.3 billion USD, including about 41.2 billion USD in overnight reverse repurchase agreements; about 18.8 billion USD in Treasury bonds with maturities less than 3 months; systemically important institution deposits of approximately 9.4 billion USD; and other bank deposits of about 1 billion USD.
