Ethereum PoS Network Sees Unprecedented Staking Surge Amid BitMine's Major Deposit

Abstract generation in progress

A significant wave of deposits has swept through Ethereum’s PoS network, with validator queues now containing 2,818,506 ETH awaiting activation. Based on validatorqueue data reported by ChainCatcher, this stash is worth roughly $7.55 billion at current prices, though validators face an estimated wait time of approximately 49 days before their stakes become active. The driving force behind this surge appears to be BitMine’s substantial decision to add a considerable portion of its holdings to the PoS network.

What’s equally noteworthy is the state of exit queues on the opposite end—they’ve been completely depleted. Not a single validator is currently in the withdrawal process, indicating strong bullish sentiment throughout the Ethereum staking ecosystem. This combination of maxed-out entry queues and zero exits suggests that market participants remain highly confident in holding their staked positions, despite the lengthy activation delays that come with Ethereum’s PoS architecture.
