X launches original article reward program, with a maximum of $1 million USD per article

CoinVoice has learned that X official creator account @XCreators posted that X’s creator earnings payout at the end of 2025 reached a new high since the launch of the profit plan, and announced that it will increase incentives for original writing content. The official stated that 2026 is positioned as the “Year of the Creator,” and the platform will focus on investing in long-form content such as articles, and plans to launch a more detailed Creator Studio earnings overview panel.

The announcement shows that in the next earnings reward, X will give an additional $1 million bonus to the most outstanding original articles. Participating articles must be original content, with no less than 1000 words, and the main evaluation criterion is exposure on the homepage timeline, limited to US users. Articles that violate platform policies, contain hate speech, fraud, or manipulative content are not eligible to participate. The eligible publication window for qualifying articles is from January 16 to January 28.
