Recently, I noticed an interesting phenomenon — the traditional commodity silver seems to be entering its super cycle.

The logic behind this is worth pondering. Changes in the global liquidity environment, escalating geopolitical tensions, and the ongoing demand for silver driven by energy transition (solar energy and electric vehicles both rely on it), all these factors are stacking up, quietly improving the fundamentals of silver.

For friends holding crypto assets, this is actually an interesting reference. When a super cycle in traditional assets begins, it often signifies a deep change in the macro environment. Historically, long cycles in commodities tend to interact interestingly with the performance of equity assets — sometimes moving in the same direction, sometimes inversely.

The story of silver reminds us not to focus solely on a single asset class. Macro cycles, policy environments, technological demands — these factors weave together into a bigger picture. Investors who understand these long cycles and manage their asset allocation accordingly are often able to seize more opportunities.

If silver rises, is BTC still far away... It feels like this wave of macro changes is really different

Silver super cycle starting? The energy transition is indeed tough. But to be honest, I'm more concerned about how BTC will react. Traditional commodities have risen, and liquidity is really changing.

Silver super cycle? Sounds like just another prophecy story... What happened to those once confident "super cycles" later on? The argument about asset allocation is always discussed in every bull market, but it always ends up being a lonely allocation.

Silver super cycle? I'm more concerned about when this wave of liquidity will flow into crypto... Traditional assets are moving, isn't it just a matter of time before the crypto world follows?

Silver super cycle? Hmm, it seems like someone is always calling for the cycle to start, but in reality, there are very few who can really keep up with the rhythm. But speaking of which, energy transition is indeed a necessity, and that logic makes sense. The question is, when these traditional assets rise, does crypto follow or move in the opposite direction? Historical data also seems inconclusive. Macroeconomic allocation sounds impressive, but even if retail investors understand it, few can really stick with it.
