Meta is signaling major ambitions in spatial computing. According to recent industry assessments, the tech giant has suggested its AI-powered glasses could potentially exceed 30 million units in production capacity if demand materializes as expected.

This projection matters more than it might seem on the surface. As wearable AR/VR devices become mainstream infrastructure, they'll likely serve as entry points for Web3 applications and decentralized services. Think about it—mass-market adoption of spatial computing platforms creates natural use cases for blockchain-based identity, digital assets, and metaverse interactions.

The 30M+ threshold is significant because it represents the scale needed to shift consumer behavior. Currently, AR glasses remain niche. But if Meta can achieve production at this level, it could accelerate mainstream acceptance of immersive tech, which inevitably pulls Web3 ecosystems along for the ride.

For crypto communities watching hardware evolution, this serves as a reminder: infrastructure adoption curves matter just as much as market cycles.
