In 2026, which public chain will become the absolute dominant force in DeFi and on-chain activities? This is a question worth deep consideration. Ethereum's ecosystem accumulation and security remain strong, but L2 solutions like Solana, Arbitrum, and Polygon are continuously eroding market share with their low costs and high speeds. Based on on-chain transaction volume, DEX activity, and lending protocol TVL, the multi-chain coexistence pattern will continue to unfold. The true winners may not be single-chain dominance, but those ecosystems that excel in cross-chain interoperability and user experience. In the DeFi battlefield of 2026, liquidity will be dispersed but opportunities will be greater.

The coexistence of multiple chains has actually been destined for a long time. Those still betting on single-chain dominance are bound to fail.

Multi-chain chaos, no one can beat anyone, it all depends on whose cross-chain solution won't rug.

Multi-chain coexistence has long been a settled matter; why are we still debating who will dominate? The ones truly worth watching are those ecosystem protocols that excel, regardless of which chain they are on.

The coexistence of multiple chains has long been understood; don't think that any single chain can dominate the world, that's a pipe dream. The real game rules have changed.

Well... to put it simply, no one can dominate the entire industry, so everyone just does their own thing. Ethereum is lying back counting money, Solana's community is the happiest, and the Arb ecosystem is becoming increasingly active. Instead of betting on which chain will win, multi-chain deployment is truly appealing.

Don't talk about absolute dominance; that term is outdated. Multi-chain coexistence is the trend.
