Altcoin investments are too risky; it's really best not to follow the trend blindly.
There are all kinds of altcoins in the market, most of which are either air projects or schemes set up by manipulators. They seem to promise attractive gains, but in reality, the risks are huge—projects running away, liquidity drying up, and being dumped on a daily basis.
Ordinary investors find it difficult to distinguish which projects have genuine technological innovation and which are just for quick profit. "Influencers' recommendations" in communities often have vested interests behind them, and retail investors who follow these tips are basically being used as bagholders.
Instead of chasing a hundredfold return on altcoins, it's better to focus on mainstream cryptocurrencies and projects with real use cases. Managing risks and achieving steady returns—this is the right approach to survive long-term in this market.

Uh... another hundredfold dream shattered, I told you
A bloody lesson, three people around me have already gone bankrupt because of shitcoins
I don't touch what big influencers recommend; they're all just setting traps
I should have realized earlier that stability is the key to longevity
I'm just asking, has anyone really made money from altcoins?
This wave of dumping directly GG'ed the market; I should have just bought Bitcoin
Don't ask me how I knew...

Another one advising people not to play knockoffs, but the ones who really enjoy it are still those gamblers.

You're so right. The people around me keep shouting that certain coins are going to explode, but a month later, they all become ATMs.
I've been ripped off by big V more than once. Now I only trust ETH and mainstream coins, and I sleep soundly.

Well said, I am the living example... Last year, I was financially ruined by a "star project."
