I have seen too many people lose their coins, only to realize later — wallet security has never been a technical issue, but a human one.

Do you think hackers are that powerful? Wrong. What actually causes 90% of people to get liquidated is that one casual authorization. Clicking "Unlimited Permissions" is like handing your house keys to a stranger. Hackers don’t need to break in; you’ve already opened the door yourself.

So what’s the simplest and most straightforward way to stay safe? Only use your wallet for transfers, avoid DeFi, don’t blindly claim airdrops, and don’t click on unfamiliar links. Doing so will instantly boost your security level.

But if you want to play on-chain, you need to follow the rules. I’ve summarized a few hardcore principles:

**First: Seed phrases and hidden wallets must be physically isolated**
Don’t store them in the same place, and don’t keep them in the same mind. Make it a secret you know but won’t speak out loud. Even if your seed phrase is exposed someday, your hidden wallet can still serve as a backup.

**Second: Don’t be lazy with Shamir Shares**
Distribute and store them using a 3/5 or 4/7 structure. This isn’t just to prevent hackers; it’s also to prevent yourself from acting rashly one day or dealing with unexpected incidents. Keep multiple copies in different locations.

**Third: Hardware wallets only recognize open-source**
There’s a strict rule in the security community: code must be visible, auditable, and question-able by everyone. Closed-source products are essentially gambling on trust; only open-source products like Trezor are worthy of handling large funds.

**Fourth: Large assets shouldn’t be operated frequently**
The highest level of defense is to make yourself have no chance to act frequently. Use the principle of “unchanging to deal with change”—that’s true wisdom.

This is no longer just about theft prevention but about preparing for a "world that’s not very peaceful" in the long term.

So what about you? How is your wallet set up in terms of security level? Share your security plan in the comments. 🔐

Another "don't click and nothing will happen" suggestion... Can you really resist not to click?

Wow, having unlimited permissions is really asking for trouble. My classmate lost everything just because of this.

Damn, I accidentally authorized this trap, and I still regret it. Almost lost everything, brother.

I just want to ask, did you really separate your seed phrase, or are you just talking nonsense?

Really, just a random authorization and it's gone. I've seen too many lessons learned the hard way.

I really want to criticize that unlimited authorization. It's truly unbelievable—opening the door for others and then blaming hackers for their skills.

Really, granting permission casually is like suicide. A friend of mine lost his life this way.

It's too late to wake up; I am that 90% of the fools.
