【Blockchain Rhythm】Cango Inc. (NYSE: CANG) released its December operational report, showing impressive results: a monthly output of 569 Bitcoins, with an average of 18.35 per day. This figure reflects increased mining efficiency driven by network difficulty optimization.

More notably, its holdings—by the end of December, Cango’s total Bitcoin holdings had risen to 7,528.3 BTC, ranking it 15th among publicly listed companies holding Bitcoin. What does this ranking indicate? Globally, few publicly listed companies have accumulated over 7,500 Bitcoins. Cango’s position in the top 15 demonstrates its competitiveness in the mining industry.

Cango’s CEO and Director Paul Yu revealed more in a statement: “Throughout 2025, we achieved sustained and steady operational growth. In December, benefiting from favorable network difficulty adjustments, we maintained stable hash rate, which in turn increased Bitcoin daily production, ultimately accumulating 7,528.3 BTC.”

Even more interesting is the financing activity. In late December, a major shareholder decided to make an additional investment, promising an amount of $10.5 million. This transaction is expected to be completed in January 2026. After this financing is in place, what does Cango plan to do? Improve Bitcoin mining efficiency while accelerating the parallel development of energy and AI computing platforms—in other words, a multi-pronged strategic layout, not just simple mining.
