Since completing its spin-off in April this year, it has started independent fundraising and development, taking a somewhat unique approach: completely abandoning EVM compatibility and shifting towards a privacy computing solution based on ZK-STARKs. Unlike those Layer 2 projects that desperately chase EVM compatibility and high TPS, Miden is betting on privacy and security. Why does this direction have potential? Essentially, it’s because regulatory attitudes are changing. Privacy is already a competitive track with players like Aztec and zkSync. If Miden wants to break through, it needs to quickly come up with a differentiated killer feature.
