#数字资产动态追踪 Miden is gaining popularity — this Layer 2 project that spun off from Polygon has recently been a hot topic in the community.

Since completing its spin-off in April this year, it has started independent fundraising and development, taking a somewhat unique approach: completely abandoning EVM compatibility and shifting towards a privacy computing solution based on ZK-STARKs. Unlike those Layer 2 projects that desperately chase EVM compatibility and high TPS, Miden is betting on privacy and security. Architecturally, it also does not have traditional validators and sequencers; developers can directly invoke zero-knowledge proofs to build applications — this modular security model is quite innovative from a technical perspective.

Why does this direction have potential? Essentially, it’s because regulatory attitudes are changing. Now, authorities are demanding greater transparency on-chain, and institutions and large holders are beginning to value privacy transaction needs. Miden’s ZK-STARK solution happens to fill this gap. But the problem is, the tokenomics are still not fully clear, and although the roadmap lists a bunch of plans (developer tools, privacy wallets, enterprise applications), verifiable milestones and timelines are few and far between. $BNB

The biggest test for early-stage projects is never how advanced the technology is, but whether they can attract developers to truly build. Privacy is already a competitive track with players like Aztec and zkSync. If Miden wants to break through, it needs to quickly come up with a differentiated killer feature. Pure technological advancement does not equal a thriving ecosystem — this has been proven too many times in the crypto space.

Being technically awesome is great, but without developers to build, it's just a dragon-slaying skill. The privacy track is indeed competitive; Aztec is already there, so why not Miden?

Abandoning the EVM move is a bit harsh, but the privacy track really can't keep up anymore. Let's see who can build the ecosystem first.

traced through multiple hops... zk-stark sounds nice on paper but where's the actual developer traction? statistical anomaly if this gains real adoption without tokenomics figured out

Great technology is impressive, but the ecosystem is the key. Aztec and zkSync have already secured their positions, so how does Miden plan to overtake on the curve?

It's ZK and privacy again. It seems every L2 wants to promote privacy, but how many can truly attract developers? Don't boast about advanced technology; attractiveness is the key. Miden looks innovative, but I'm worried it's just a paper prosperity, with a cold ecosystem in reality.

No matter how cool the technology is, tokenomics is empty. This is a big trap.

Laughing and then crying, Miden's move is really a bit of a gambler's mentality... Giving up EVM compatibility for privacy, isn't this just putting all the chips on regulatory attitude?

Abandoning EVM compatibility, this move is quite aggressive... The privacy track is so competitive, how can Miden break through?
