It's not about needing more public chains now, but about enabling the existing public chains to truly interconnect.

This is the most critical pain point in Web3 today—assets and liquidity are isolated across different ecosystems, user experience is fragmented, and capital efficiency is low. No matter how strong a single public chain is, it cannot break through the limitations of ecosystem boundaries.

The value of cross-chain infrastructure lies here. It's not about creating another chain, but about building a connecting hub that allows assets and smart contracts from ecosystems like Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, and Arbitrum to interact seamlessly. Imagine your liquidity no longer being trapped within a single ecosystem, but able to flow across ecosystems, enabling cross-ecosystem collaboration. This deepens DEXs, improves lending market efficiency, and even opens up new financial Lego combinations with real imaginative space.

This interconnected network architecture is the next step for Web3 infrastructure. Multi-chain is not the end; multi-chain interconnection is.

Cross-chain is indeed a false proposition; the technology isn't mature enough yet, but people are hyping it up.

That's so true. Right now, we're just piling up garbage public chains; it's better to focus on improving cross-chain technology.

That's right, rushing to develop new chains is really a waste; interoperability is the way to go. If cross-chain technology is truly perfected and liquidity isn't locked up, the entire ecosystem's vitality will immediately surge. Currently, each public chain operates independently, and user experience is terrible. But the problem is, existing cross-chain solutions are too complex, with high barriers to entry, and only a few can actually be implemented successfully. This area indeed has the most potential. If seamless interaction can be achieved, DeFi will truly begin. Multi-chain connectivity sounds great, but it's too difficult to implement.

That's right, right now it's a mess, everyone doing their own thing. Every day shouting about new public chains, but in the end, the money is locked inside, and if you want to cross an ecosystem, you have to go around in circles, with skyrocketing transaction fees. If cross-chain technology can really be improved, liquidity can come alive.

That's right, now it's indeed time to focus on cross-chain, just building chains alone is not interesting.

That's right, now is the time to focus on interoperability. Cross-chain development really can't be rushed, but it also feels urgent... Seeing many projects reinvent the wheel is frustrating.
