The crypto market remains the same old story—Bitcoin stubbornly holding the $88,000 level.

As of December 29, 2025, this wave of market movement has mostly been sideways, with little overall change. Bitcoin is currently priced at $87,761, with a 24-hour increase of only 0.13%. Ethereum is slightly more active, trading at $2,947.3, up 0.31% over the past 24 hours. The total global crypto asset market cap stands at $3.058 trillion, with a 24-hour fluctuation of less than 0.1%—a word to describe it: stable.

But stable doesn’t mean there aren’t stories hidden in the details. Altcoins are indeed exploding here.

GMT leads the charge, currently at $0.0172, with an 18.4% surge in the past 24 hours. AT follows closely, rising 17.4% to $0.1874. GAS also joins the fun, up 10.11% to $2.188. STRAX and T have gained 8.67% and 6.38%, respectively. The collective performance of these altcoins is quite interesting.

But in the crypto world, there are always those who rejoice and those who worry.

HOME plummeted 13.06% to $0.01699, STORJ dropped 13.02% to $0.141, and STO fared even worse, falling 12.1% to $0.813. Holders of these plunging tokens are probably watching the green dance.

The rhythm of the crypto market is like this—every rise and fall is an opportunity, but risks are always lurking. Whether this wave continues to oscillate and wear down or is brewing the next market move remains to be seen.

Here we go again with the same routine... Bitcoin just refuses to break the level, while altcoins are booming. GMT jumped directly by 18%, and I’m just wondering who’s buying this stuff. --- When will this sideways trading finally end? I feel like I’m about to fall asleep. --- How miserable those people at HOME must be... 13 points just evaporated. This must be the daily routine in the crypto world. --- Altcoins are so volatile, maybe it’s another trap to cut the leeks again. --- Stability is stability, but I really don’t understand this kind of stability. When will there be a big market move? --- I missed the 18-point rise in GMT... once again, I missed the opportunity. --- This market is just gambling; the ups and downs are all about some institution taking the other side. --- Bitcoin has held at 88,000 for so long. It feels like it will either break through 800,000 or fall back down.

It's the same old story again, Bitcoin holding its position while altcoins are dancing wildly. The recent surge in GMT is indeed something special. Brothers who got in early are smiling from ear to ear. The group at HOME is probably testing the waters on the verge of cutting losses. This is the true picture of the crypto world. Bitcoin remains steady as a mountain, while altcoins are the fertile ground for hundredfold opportunities. The sideways consolidation is so dull and suffocating that it's making me sick. I have to find some joy in altcoins. The players have changed this round. GMT and AT are putting on a show, and the old bunch of leek farmers should wake up now. Still feeling like we're in the bottom-building phase? My intuition tells me the next wave of market movement is coming... probably. Big funds are bleeding Bitcoin dry, and retail investors' money is flowing into altcoins. This must be the consensus. STORJ has fallen so hard—how much psychological pressure must the bottom-fishers be under? I can't even imagine. It's another day of looking for opportunities between rises and falls, but I'm afraid the opportunities might turn into traps.

Altcoins are starting to cut leeks again, GMT rose by 18 points, and looking back, HOME was directly cut in half? This is the crypto world. BTW, Bitcoin is still pretending to be dead, holding tightly at 87761, I'm really speechless. Another wave of people making money and others eating dirt, old routine. Let's see if GMT can hold this wave of gains, feels like it's about to plunge again. Just sideways trading, anyway I'm already numb. I don't understand why GMT can surge so fast, will it reverse crash in the next second? This wave of altcoins performed really strongly, but the guys holding HOME probably want to smash their screens. BTC is the stabilizer, everything else is playing with heartbeat. Let's wait and see, it feels like a storm is coming.
