Tokyo-based crypto rewards platform SocialGood recently announced the closing of its Series B funding round, with a total raise of $5.63 million, bringing its total funding to over $15 million.

This new funding will mainly be used to optimize the platform's internal management system and governance framework. The platform's operational logic is quite interesting — it aggregates a large number of e-commerce websites, where users can shop and spend to earn crypto assets as rewards, effectively combining daily shopping with Web3 incentives.

From the funding pace, the project team is gradually expanding its business scale while also strengthening its organizational structure. This model of e-commerce cashback empowering crypto assets has also attracted the attention of many investors at present.

E-commerce rebates wrapped in a crypto shell can raise 15 million... It depends on how they set up permission controls in their smart contracts; otherwise, it could be the next flash loan storm.

Can you still cash out coins by buying things? I played this trick ten years ago, it's just that back then it wasn't as officially financed.

Raising 15 million sounds like a lot, but what about the health factors of this e-commerce rebate model? What about user retention data? I'm just worried it might be another liquidity trap.

You can earn coins just by grocery shopping, this logic is really awesome. By the way, is this rebate model reliable? Aren't you worried it might be the next collapse project? Raising funds so quickly shows that someone really believes in it. Since it's made by Japanese people, it feels quite cautious, unlike some projects that do whatever they want. Not bad, doing daily consumption and earning some rewards along the way—this is the way Web3 should be used. They've raised 15 million and are still going, I want to see how far they can go. Wait, is the value of this rebate coin stable? How do they ensure it won't turn into a worthless token? Honestly, this model sounds much more reliable than many social-focused projects. Strengthening the management system proves that the fundraisers are cautious, so it's not just a pure capital play. The integrated e-commerce approach still has room for imagination; I just don't know how the user experience will be.

The scheme of earning coins by shopping, I've heard it too many times. Can it really be implemented? SocialGood has raised over 5 million dollars again. The Tokyo team is steady with this pace, but the governance framework really needs to put in some effort. Getting cashback when shopping is a good idea, but I'm just worried it will end up in chaos again. They've raised a total of 15 million dollars and are still optimizing the management system, which suggests there might be some issues earlier on. The combination of e-commerce and cryptocurrency does have potential, but the key is how to execute it. The hardest part of projects like this isn't fundraising, but truly retaining users. Rebate models are old news; the key is whether the token economics are well-designed. Another project aiming to change the shopping experience—just bet that it won't rug pull.
